Latin American Prize for Indian Spirituality - Doctor Esteban Emiliano Mosonyi

Takiwasi receives recognition for its good practices in the prevention and treatment of drug addiction.

Takiwasi was awarded the "Latin American Prize for Indigenous Spirituality Doctor Esteban Emiliano Mosonyi CISEI 2010", during the Sixth International Forum on Spirituality of the Indigenous Peoples of America "ANCESTRAL WISDOM, HEALING AND SPIRIT OF THE AIR", April 8, 9 and 10, 2010.


Takiwasi is awarded by DEVIDA - 2009

The Municipality of San Luis, the Rehabilitation Center of Naña and the Takiwasi Center were awarded by DEVIDA and the Belgian Technical Cooperation (CTB) for their good practices in prevention and treatment of drug abuse. This is the "I Call for Good Practices in the Prevention and Treatment of Drug Abuse 2009".

The Executive President of DEVIDA, Romulo Pizarro, highlighted the activities and programs carried out by these institutions for the benefit of the Peruvian population. The chief of DEVIDA stated that we must go "towards a certification of good practices of prevention and treatment of drug abuse in order to standardize these services whenever these painful cases have been recorded in our country."[Read more]

Civic medal of the City of Tarapoto

Takiwasi was recognized by the Provincial Municipality of San Martin for its rehabilitation and research work and awarded with the civic medal of the City of Tarapoto that has been given to its representatives by the Mayor on September 5, 2009 during the city council meeting.
