COST

The income from the retreat for Veterans and First Responders and from other activities allow us to generate capital which we may use to fund the cost of treatment for people suffering with addictions and with limited economic resources.

Takiwasi is officially registered as an NGO by the Peruvian Government. We receive very little funding support and none from the Government. Unfortunately we are unbale to provide payment plans or credit terms to the people participating in the retreats.

Takiwasi has always been, for more than 30 years, a reference for providing a safe, authentic and highly professional environment for the therapeutic use of Amazon plant medicine. We appreciate your trust in Takiwasi.

For the year 2025, the price of the retreat for Veterans and First Responders will be of $1,500 US dollars.

You can pay in foreign currency using the exchange rate of the day in which the payment will be made (which will be communicated by Takiwasi's administration). We also accept credit card, with a minimum additional fee.

The net amount received will be considered, free of transfer commission (+/- US$ 22.00), credit card fee (+/- 6%) or exchange rate differentials.

This price includes:

• Intake of purging plant.
• Participation in 2 ayahuasca ceremonies.
• An 8-days retreat ("Dieta") in the botanical reserve of Takiwasi, with the daily intake of master or teacher plants. The plant(s) are assigned to each participant according to the motivations expressed in the motivation letter and the personal interview with our team.
• A constant follow-through of each participant's process during the retreat by a team of experienced healers and psychologists.

Accommodation and Food

During the days before and after the jungle retreat ("Dieta") taking place in our botanical reserve, the participants will arrange and pay for their accommodation and meals. During the entirety of the jungle retreat, accommodation and meals are covered by Takiwasi.

Takiwasi recommends lodging in Taki Tambo Lodge, a hotel newly built for the purpose of housing individuals working with plant medicine.

This property is adjacent to the Takiwasi Center and provides for a quiet, ecological and safe environment also with direct access to the Shilcayo River. All rooms have their own bathroom and free Wifi. Each room has a hammock. The room rate includes breakfast.
